Hey! Welcome to Adequate Female. This site contains blog posts with varied content on women's health, bodies, sexual identity, mental health, bereavement, suicide and all other subjects we'll face in our lives! Enjoy.
Email me to share your story and be part of the Adequate Women Community. What makes you an Adequate Woman?
What are you passionate about? Interested in? Been successful at? Failed monumentally at? When have you felt most strong and adequate, and why?
Don't sweat it, it could be that accepting an asexual life has given you freedom and reduced your anxiety around sexuality, or perhaps deciding that running 1 mile is enough and doesn't need to increase. Got it? #adequatewomen
If you want some thoughts to get you started...
What have you felt most proud of yourself for overcoming?
Tell us about a time you've faced adversity head on, it hasn't changed the outcome, but you were happy in the acceptance.
Do you feel the consistent strive for happiness leads to disappointment, and what do you do to keep it real?
Have you made a life-changing decision which has taken you on a different path?
When have you felt out of your depth, and what did you do to build your resilience?
What are you doing ok at- not excelling, not failing, but treading water happily?
When does imposter syndrome kick in for you and how do you face it?
Have you given up big life goals (promotion, moving to bigger houses, worrying about marriage etc) and how has that affected your outlook?
You can send across submissions to be featured on here, and shared across social platforms just by writing your content and sending it in the body of an email, or attaching in a simple word document. No real word limits, but best to keep it punchy so under 1000 words or so please. If you would also attach a picture of yourself when sending, that would be brilliant, so we can see your fantastic, adequate, worthy face!
